What you'll learn

Understand the application lifecycle, not only the interface.

01

Dart & Flutter foundations

Build programming confidence in Dart, then apply Flutter widgets, layouts, responsive and adaptive UI, navigation and reusable interface composition.

02

State & application structure

Understand state ownership and lifecycle first, then use Riverpod as the primary structured state-management approach within a maintainable feature-oriented application structure.

03

APIs & authentication

Understand HTTP, REST and JSON before using Dio to integrate backend-independent APIs, model data, handle failures and manage token-based authentication and session lifecycle.

04

Persistence & device behavior

Use lightweight preferences and secure local storage appropriately, then introduce structured local persistence and selected device/platform capabilities where they add real value.

05

Quality & reliability

Practice validation, loading/empty/error states, debugging, Dart unit tests, Flutter widget tests, integration-testing fundamentals and performance investigation with Flutter DevTools.

06

Delivery workflows

Prepare Android signing/build/release workflows and understand iOS/Xcode signing, provisioning, archive, TestFlight and App Store release concepts without guaranteeing store publication.

Projects you'll build

Build complete mobile experiences, not disconnected screens.

Project briefs can vary by cohort, but the work should connect interface, state, data, authentication, persistence, quality and delivery decisions.

Responsive multi-screen app

A structured Flutter application with reusable widgets, navigation, forms and responsive layouts.

API-connected application

A mobile app consuming REST APIs with loading, error and empty states plus robust user input handling.

Authenticated application

A product flow covering sign-in or token-based identity, protected areas and session-aware behavior.

Persistent mobile experience

An application that uses lightweight or structured local persistence appropriately, protects sensitive local data and behaves predictably across launches.

Tested product workflow

A feature set supported by debugging, validation, unit/widget testing and reliability checks.

Final mobile product

A scoped end-to-end application the participant can demonstrate, document and defend during readiness review.

AI-Assisted Engineering

AI can assist your work. You must still understand your work.

AI is treated as a professional tool for research, development assistance, debugging, testing, documentation and code-review support—not as a substitute for engineering understanding. Appropriate AI/API integration can be introduced later without turning Mobile Engineering into an AI & ML track.

Use

Research, development assistance, debugging, documentation, testing and analysis.

Verify

Check generated code, assumptions, package usage, edge cases and platform behavior before relying on it.

Protect

Respect privacy, credentials, secrets, confidential information, intellectual property and security requirements.

Explain

Be able to explain submitted code, architecture, state, API and delivery decisions regardless of AI assistance.

Professional workflows

Learn how mobile work moves through a product team.

Git & GitHub

Use source control from early in the program, then progress into branches, pull requests, review feedback and collaborative delivery.

Mobile Engineering FAQ

Understand the track before you apply.

The Mobile Engineering track uses a focused Flutter pathway and the same readiness-to-internship framework as the wider Industry Training Program.

The track is designed to build from programming and mobile-app foundations, but entry expectations can vary by cohort. The application and baseline assessment help HodoLabs understand your current level and the support you may need.

Flutter provides one coherent cross-platform environment for learning interface construction, application state, navigation, networking, persistence, testing and delivery concepts without fragmenting the learning path across multiple unrelated frameworks. The track remains focused on Dart and Flutter rather than adding React Native, Kotlin or Swift simply to make the technology list larger.

Both pathways use the same core Dart and Flutter stack. The 3-Month Program develops practical working capability to build, integrate, test and explain a production-shaped mobile application with structured guidance. The 6-Month Program goes deeper into architecture, Riverpod state boundaries, API/data layers, structured persistence, offline concepts, testing, performance, platform capabilities, collaboration, documentation, independent problem solving and a substantially longer Internship Experience.

Yes. The 3-Month Program includes 8 weeks of Learning & Development followed by 4 weeks of Internship Experience. The 6-Month Program includes 12 weeks of Learning & Development followed by 12 weeks of Internship Experience. Participants progress through the readiness checkpoint before entering the internship phase.

The track focuses on cross-platform application development with Flutter. Participants learn Android build, signing and release workflows plus iOS/Xcode signing, provisioning, archive, TestFlight and App Store release concepts. Actual iOS builds or store publication depend on access to appropriate Apple/macOS infrastructure and developer accounts, so publication is not guaranteed.

Participants may use AI for research, development assistance, debugging, documentation, testing and analysis. Submitted work must still be understood, reviewed and explainable by the participant, with attention to verification, privacy, security and intellectual property.

The 3-Month Mobile Engineering program fee is ₹8,999 and the 6-Month program fee is ₹14,999. Internship Experience is part of the applicable program structure and is not charged separately.

No. HodoLabs does not sell certificates separately. Applicable credentials are earned by successfully completing the corresponding program requirements.
